My suggestion would be, assuming that if you know that the varmint is present it must be due to the fact that you can see it from your nearest view, I would devise some sort of clothes wire apparatus and configure it in a shape that allows you to either push or pull the fore mentioned varmint, although messy but promptly for removal and proper disposal.

My hubby the contractor says you'll basically have to take it apart, but he'd have to see it to know for sure but since there's no chance of that good luck.
