x+2 divided by x^2+5x+6
= (x+2) /(x^2+5x+6)
= (x+2) /(x+3)(x+2)
=1 /(x+3)
Thats the answer

one over x +3. you gotta take the denominator apart- simplify it, if you will. so what times what adds to get five and multiplies to get six? that would be 3 and 2, both positive. so, in the denominator, go (x+3) (x+2). so you have x+2 over (x+2)(x+3). x+2 divides out so you have one in the numerator and x+3 in the denominator. you probably don't care, but i'm learning the same thing and it helps me learn when I explain it to other people.
