There is another series of books like the Twilight Series, by PC Cast. It's about a teenage girl who is "marked" and starts attending a Vampire High School- it's pretty good! 1st book- Marked 2nd book- Betrayed 3rd book- Chosen -Margaret

It just depends on the age and gender. For girls, I would say maybe the Clique books, Tamora Pierce books, books by Meg Cabot, and the Chicken Soup for the Soul books are always good. If all else fails try going to Barnes & Noble and just going to the Teen section.

Sleeping Freshman Never Lie by: David Luabar - I loved this book. It is about this boy and his venture into 9th grade. He likes writing so there is a lot of literary references.

If it's female teens, I know of a few. The BabySitter's Club, The Saddle Club, and Thoroughbred are all book series that I enjoyed at a teenage girl. Also, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, as well as it's three sequels, are extremely well written.

There's a new medieval fantasy series in hardcover that you might like. The title of the first episode is THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY. It's 445 pages of action, adventure, magic, mystery and mayhem. If you're a fan of Conan, LOTR or Wheel books, this is one you'll enjoy. A Hollywood producer said it was, "Like Braveheart meets Lord of the Rings." (See other comments & reviews below.)
