I love Thanksgiving! It's like Christmas without the pressure of gifts. My favorite thing my family does is "play games all sorts"---which means we just play all sorts of board games and laugh at everything in the game.

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition in my family is just being with the people you love and being at a table with good food and saying what you are thankful for.

All of us that are together for the Thanksgiving meal form a circle around the table, before we eat, and each of us says what he/she is most thankful for. Usually it is something that the last year has brought about, sometimes it's just a simple thanks that so many family members were able to gather, in relatively good health. I love the bonding, close feeling. Some recent years have brought loss, but the thanks included "thanks for the memories" and was still beautiful.
