The King may capture the piece that is attacking it, as long as it can do so with a legal move, and only with its normal move (in other words, not by castling). Also, the attacking piece must not be protected by another piece, as the King may never move into or remain in check.

If a participant isn't able to make ANY (includes shifting the different products) circulate without putting their King in verify, the pastime is a stalemate. If for some reason, you desire to circulate into checkmate (desire to surrender), the guidelines do no longer enable that. the main outstanding thank you to surrender is to concede. that's often completed verbally or by knocking over or laying down one's King.
