What makes you want to talk to the "cooler" kids?? Just be yourself & talk to whoever you feel like talking to, if you don't feel comfortable talking to someone it could be a sign that they're not worth talking to...

Be yourself , appreciate who u are , having cool clothes mean nothing if u don't kno how to socialise . Maybe u're a shy person

Sometimes the coolest kids are the ones who have little tightknit groups that you can just fall into...and laugh and joke about everything...
Clothing doesn't make a person.
