Several month ago, I met a man on http://www.emilitarycenter.com/inter , he located in USA, and I live in German, we dated with each other pretty well, and we are planning marriage now.

But I wonder whether green card in USA can get easily or hard? Thanks for your answer.

Getting a green card can be quite hard. The ones to easily get are ones that are supported by a job which sends over its worker to the US and gets a green card for them. They can take very long to get, and to apply for them is hard as well. I'm sure you can make it though, so good luck. I would suggest looking at the US citizenship/green card website and seeing what they suggest and if you can download applications online.

A friend of mine was talking about this the other day. Basically he can get you a visa to come to the US to get married on the condition that he can prove that he can support you (household income is 125% of what the government says is needed to live) and that the 2 of you have met physically within the last year. After being married you will be legal to live in the states, but won't receive real citizenship until you are married past the 2 year probational period.
Basically any immigrant to the US seeking citizenship must have a sponsor who is already a citizen. Tell your boyfriend to talk to a lawyer and a local Immigration Office for help.

Hi. I have a friend who married an Australian woman and she obtained a green card. I don't remember all the details but I think she found it easy to enter the US on a temporary visa. Later she applied for a green card and had to fill out MANY forms and wait in long lines. But she got it. So if you are going to marry your sweetheart, I don't think it will be impossible to live in the US. And despite the rude comments of some people, I believe you will be welcome. Like Germany, the USA is a country of many people with many opinions. Good luck.

You need to get a visa to come to US and unless it is different now, it is for 6 months. During that six months, if you decide to stay, you have to apply for an extension. Even if you get married, you need to do this because they can deport you and you may not be able to come back.. If you go thru the appropriate things, get your visa, let them know you plan to marry, extend it, get your green card, you probably won't have any problems, but the best thing to do is talk to your embassy and find out how it works. My daughter in law is from Canada and they gave her the run around at immigration for such a long time because she got married and her visa ran out. Please go on the Internet and find out all you can. There are even immigration lawyers on the Internet that will give you information free It took her a long time to get her green card and she was unable to even go home and visit her family until she got it. We thought we were doing everything correctly, but the catch is overstaying your visa. It has to be kept current. Getting married doesn't automatically make you legal in the US.

you can check uscis.org it shows there the forms that your boyfriend needs to fill up. may give you some insights too.

my friend just came here from manila, Philippines via fiancee visa last september. it took them 2 yrs to process the papers. once she's here they need to get married within 90 days before she can have a conditional permanent resident visa. they hired a lawyer so they will be on the right track.

you might wanna ask a lawyer just to be sure.

good luck.
