my best friend just e-mailed me and told me that she thinks i hate her and i dont she said she got that idea because i havent called her just to say hi or anything but i have been grounded for two months what should i tell her because she dident believe me when i told her i was grounded

Sometimes, girls get emotional for a lot of reasons... it could be that she's having troubles in her life and she needs you and it seems that you just don't care... but you know thats not true... but for her, caring means talking to her 24/7 and making sure she's okay...
well it is.... but people care in different ways...
you have two ways to go
1--> when she didn't believe you, maybe it was the way you said it.... or if it was on the phone, she can't see the way you look, so it just seems like you're saying it to make her feel good and get over it.... you have to make sure she sees you and tell her (even though it sounds far fetched) that you care about her, and that you have been able to use the phone cuz (tell her why you were grounded) and then tell her that she can call you too and you will never have a problem with her calling.... and that you'll try harder to make her feel better cuz you love her and that you guys are BFFs and nothing can break that apart.
and/or
2-> if that's done and it didn't work, or haven't.... give her proof, friends get over protective, and some think they know everything and they're always right, "so you weren't grounded.... you just don't care"... but you know that's not true.... so tell her that if she really wants to know, your mom will so tell her what happened... tell her that "you want to make it up to her... and that whatever she wants you do.... you will, cuz sometimes... to prove to their BFFs they love them, they sacrifice anything.... well, except kill yourself for her.... but you'll so jump in front of a bullet for her.... right?
cuz that's what BFFs do.... "

WOW you must have been naughty to get grounded for 2 months hey? Just call her or email her again and find out her problem she most probably has something going on in her life which is upsetting her a good friend would understand especially if she knows your parents so if she does tell her you know what my parents are like they are really mad at me .Good luck sweetheart better learn to behave yourself OR NOT GET CAUGHT HA!HA!

Doesn't sound like the best of friends to not believe you. I say, have proof. If not possible have her talk to your mom or dad. And if that doesnt work tell her true friends would lie to eachother, and that they should always believe one another.

tell her she could've called you at anytime and your mother wouldve told her you were grounded. if she should ask what kind of friend doesnt call for that long...ask her what kind of friend assumes the worst from you without looking for other possibilities

First off, tell her to grow up. If she doesn't buy your story tell her to talk to the horses mouth herself (meaning whoever grounded you). Don't sweat the small stuff...

I'd say you to call her again and explain to her what have been happen to you. Believe me, she gonna understand you, maybe she's angry right now. Good luck with your friend.

She is just a drama queen. Tell her if she doesn't believe you then so be it, it is her problem. You don't have to go on and on proving a truth.

Tell her you are sorry for not calling her....and start calling her more often. She won't be able to believe that you hate her if you call her reguarly.

ummm how old are you love?.. i'm assuming like 12 or younger.. tell her to relax.. theres nothing you can do.. or tell your parents the situation and i'm sure they'll let you call her and explain yourself... do you not go to schoool together?
