The Colts have been known (at least in the past 5 years) to have amazing regular season records, but lose the big games. One can compare them to the Atlanta Braves of the late 90s who despite having a solid regular season, could not move past the first round. Moreover, if you look at Tony Dungy (who I think is a nice guy) he ostensibly built up Tampa Bay's defense, but couldn't take them to the Superbowl. However, the year after Dungy left, Gruden came in and took them all they way there and won it...
Are the Colts a good team? Yes, I think they're a good team the numbers prove it. Are they are great team? I would have to say no on this one because its the great teams that win the big games...

The Colts are a great regular season team, no doubt about it.
The Colts are a mediocre post season team.
Until Manning and Co. win the big one, they'll only be second fiddle to the teams that beat them and move on.

they're a lucky team. did you see how the people on sunday night football keep talking about the burnett interception and "how it could have been reversed" so that the colts could win. poor manning lost and people can't get over it.

Get your tissues out.. peyton got spank by Daddy Parcell. Payton made Dallas work for it though. He is going to be one of the great minds in football--Vince lombardi caliber.
