I found out my brother is gay?

Question

He came over to my place and told me he had something he wanted to tell me. He looked really nervous, so I told him to sit down while I went and fetched us some drinks. After I sat down he askled me what did I think about gay people. I gave it a quick thought and told him I never really thought about it. That's when he told me he was gay!

I got up and beat the holy crap outta him and then siced my german shepard on him, and between my dog biting the crap out of him and barking, I manhandled him towards the front door and kicked his **** onto the porcch and I screamed for him to never bring his fat *** over to my home ever again. I effectivly dishowned him.

Of all the nerve! These people think they can do and say anything. I then called up everyone I knew who knows him and told them. The vowed that when they see him they are going to kick his ***.

I won't stand for any gayness in my family.

I think I handled that very well. What would all of you have done about this problem?

If you ask me he got of lucky. I was thinking about bringing a baseball bat into play but that might have gotten me some jail time.

I think you handled the situation totally wrong. Don't get my wrong, I believe that two guys kissing each other or making out, is totally uncalled for, but I don't think you had any right to beat the crap out of him and tell all his friends. He could file assult charges on you. People that commit hate crimes like that don't look good infront of a judge and a jury. People that commit hate crimes tend to recieve a harsher punishments. Telling all his friends and destroying his reputation is also wrong. You said that you told all his friends that he was gay, and they said they would beat the crap out of him. Do you realize that if something were to happen to him becouse what you told them, they would not only come after the person that beat the crap out of him, they would also come after you. If he ends up being killed becouse what you told other people you could be charged with assory to murder. He could turn around and sue you for definition of character. He could contact the gay and lesbian alliance, and they would have a field day with you. Im totally not impressed at all with how you handled the situation. Your brother trusted you enough to come out and tell you that he was gay. He was very nervous about telling you, but he still told you. Now your brother will probably never trust you again with anything. Him being gay and fooling away does not effect you in any way, its his business. It only effects him. Its not like he is making sexual advances toward you, or hitting on you. If he was, then I would give him one warning to stop. If he didn't stop after you gave him the warning, then yeah, you would have the right to pop him one becouse you already told him once. Of course if you did, I wouldn't beat him until his bloody and can't move. I don't think thats the case becouse know were in your question does it indicate that he was making sexual advances towards you. Most people that are gay do not hit on any straight guys becouse they know their straight and their cool with that. Spreading the word around to people that he hangs out with is for him to tell them not you. If you want to beat the crap out of him, just becouse his gay, why not let people do it to people that don't like Aferican Americans. Why not kill people that are not Christans. Do you see where im going with this. I think what you did is totally uncalled for. You could try to support him, or have him talk to a theorpists. He's your own brother for god's sake. If I were you are would sincearly apologize to him. I actually feel bad for him, and I don't even know him. I hope you burn and rot in hell. Thats where you belong. If you made this up this is not funny in any way. I feel sorry for you. If this is real I hope the cops come and see you. I think you should spend some time in jail so you can see how it feels to not be free. More than that maybe they will hear what you have done. Then they will do something to you. I don't understand how you could do such a thing and this made me sick to read. He confided in you, you're supposed to be his brother. Not everyone is perfect. Not everyone can measure up to your standards. You need to learn to accept that. You need to learn to accept him.
It obviously took a lot for him to even bring up the nerve to tell you and you didn't even give him a chance.

Just because he happens to like guys doesn't make him any less of a person. In fact, I think he's the bigger person for not turning around and beating your ignorant *** which is precisly what he should've done. He trusted you, you were obviously important to him since he wanted you to know and you turned around and stabbed him in the face. You say you disowned him? You never controlled him in the first place. People do what they want to do. They are who they are. You don't have to agree with everyone or everything, but who are you to decide what everyone should do, who they should be? I'm sure not everything you do is perfect but at least you aren't beaten for it, not shunned by the very people who are supposed to be there for you unconditionally, and not labeled by all you thought were your friends as some freak and abandoned by them all at the very time you need them most.
I doubt you'll take my words any more openly than you took your brothers but I felt the need to say something.

I'm going to take you at face value even though it amazes me that anyone could be that unrealistically stupid. I pray that you are joking.

Hmmm....in my humble opinion I think you should be hung up, anally raped for hours by a horse, cut in various locations, and then left to bleed to death. That's my merciful side talking of course. All the pain in the world would be to good for you. He was honest and trusted you and you completely betrayed him. You are a sick twisted excuse for a human being and I really hope you get shot, several times in what alone would be non lethal places but then left untreated to get infected. Hopefully the infection would then spread to your brain and cause an even slower and more painful death.

That only shows your brother was the mature one in the situation....he trusted you enough to tell you this and you reacted like a fool my brother is gay and is something I have know since a child....well I just kind of figured....I think you need to reevaluate ur reaction and find a way to apologize to him...that was real low to get ur dog on him you acted more as an animal then a MAN, so no MAN up to ur actions and try to make them right.

He was the same brother you loved ten minutes before you knew he is gay as he was ten minutes after, except now you will never know how much love he had for you to tell you, or how much your support would have meant to him, you could have killed him and he still is and will always be gay, and your brother.
