I keep having these strange dreams that I'm pregnant. And like, it's not that I miss a period and I'm like, "Okay, I'm pregnant." It's like, I'm always doing something, hanging out with friends or shopping or something normal, and suddenly there is a pain in my stomach and I start to panic. I touch my stomach and there is a very hard round ball in my stomach, always to the right, almost at my side. I always end up freaking out and trying to figure out how I'm going to tell my parents and thinking about how dissappointed they're going to be....

I'm a firm believer that dreams mean something. I believe in most old wives tales about dreams, like the one where if you dream a loved one dies a friend is pregnant. Either way, if anyone has any idea what this could mean, please, help.

This dream could be a premonition or it could be that you are just very afraid of letting your parents down. Maybe you are doing everything right and getting pregnant would be the only one thing that would "let them down". I also believe that dreams mean something and it can also mean that you are about to embark on something new and something that you are not really ready to deal with and are afraid to fail. By the way, I've always heard that if you dream of a death or a funeral that someone is going to get married. (I guess it would be the death of their single life and new beginning with their spouse) But to think of it the same could be of a pregnancy (big changes either way)

Are you getting ready to leave school? Start school? Get a license of some kind, or take a major test? Leave home? It sounds like an anxiety attack that is manifesting itself in your dreams. You are dreaming about growing up, maturing, having a mature relationship, leaving your parents, or embarking on a new life without them. Are you contemplating doing something else that has nothing to do with sex (or maybe has everything to do with sex) that you know they would not approve of? Also, there is always the outside chance that your subconscience is trying to tell you that something is wrong and that you should go for a basic yearly check up, complete with pap smear, but that is good advice for anyone. Truly, I believe it is anxiety over growing up and facing leaving the nest. You don't want to dissapoint your parents and have so many choices around you and decisions to make. Trust yourself and them a little bit more, and trust the universe that everything will turn out all right and the dreams will go away.

Your attention is being drawn to that area of your body either to warn you of careless sexual relations or a tumor or possible appendicitis. Write down every association you can come up with and refer them back to your every day life. Stomach ailments, tumors, pregnancies, things you're hiding from your parents, things you need to talk to them about that you aren't, etc. Then do an inventory of where your life is right now, what you want out of life, where you're putting your energies, things you're proud of, things that make you wretch and see if there aren't some intersections. Just off the top of my head though, I'd say discontinue sexual relations, because a pregnancy will mean bad things for you right now.

I have a similar dream. I think that it is related to my desire to nurture. Also, I was recently married, and so family planning has been a recent discussion between my husband and I. I think that this dream helps me to work through anxieties of becoming a new parent. Dream interpretation is really subjective. Think about what is going on in your life.

It might be telling you you have appendicitis or something....because if you do it would be a pain in your right side abdominal.

Otherwise, i don't know. You might just be eager to have children later or you have a fear of becoming pregnant?

I think it's simply a reminder to use an effective birth control method.
