The BBC is good. Also, checkout Christian Science Monitor and UK's Guardian (Unlimited). But basically, all media is biased. That is, it's written by people who are culturally biased and are paid by business people subject to economic realities that include catering to an audience with a specific demographic and interests and delivering them to advertisers. It's just natural.
Best bet is reading multiple sources to draw your own conclusions.

People love to complain about the news media -- sort of the way everybody used to talk ugly about the phone company.
The truth of the matter is that biased news organizations don't last very long. They can't survive because nobody believes them -- and so they lose readership and/or viewership.
The BBC is great. Among American newspapers, check out the New York Times (www.nytimes.com) and the Washington Post (www.washingtonpost.com).

BBC is certainly in my opinion one of the most credible and reliable sources of news although the Brits are like everybody, they have their prejudices and opinions.
