I have 3 kids and a baby on the way and I have never felt any of my babies kick me in the ribs or anything. I carry low though, so Im glad I dont feel that. Doesnt sound fun...Although I feel everything further down which is not fun either.

I never felt that, but my boy was breech almost the whole time. I had his head up against my ribs, and that was weird. Instead of this little jabbing foot, I had this great big lump. Because of that, I kept telling my dr. that I thought he was breech, but my dr. kept insisting that he wasn't. Well, guess what! I was right.
Anyway, my sister-in-law had the foot in the robs problem from about 6 months and it never let up until she went into labor and the baby dropped down a little.

I never felt anything in my ribs with either of my pregnancies. Eventually after they got really big (like 7-8th month) I would feel their boney parts (knees feet, hands, elbows) pushing outwards. Sometimes that would get uncomfortable...but you can just push those little parts back in.

I'm due in 11 days with my 4th, and since I've carried her low the whole time, she only recently started with my ribs...maybe 3 weeks ago. I've never enjoyed that feeling and it's about aggravating me to death.....sigh.

when i was six and a half months pregnant... and he never stopped kicking my ribs.. till the day he was born..cried for the first month..CONSTANTLY!!!! then and now quiet as a mouse..he even cries quietly ( I am lucky)
So if the baby kicks ALOT the rest of you pregnancy...don't worry doesen't mean they will be loud and colic or anything like that
