I really like the name Mimi.
I think it's adorable, but fine for someone even older.
It just sounds sweet, and it's fun to say.
But not too sugary or anything.
It's perfect.
Also, Michelle is a good name, too.
=D

No I don't think Mimi is a good nickname, and I don't think the name Michelle even needs a nickname, it's too pretty to be spoiled by one.

It's a very sweet nickname until your turn about 16--but it can make a comeback. My daughter's godmother is named Michelle but my little girl couldn't pronounce it when she was about 1 yr old so we suggested she call her auntie Mimi *remembering that used to be her nickname*. So we kind of revived it that way. Auntie "Mimi" is now age 36.

But we her friends call her Mich (pronounced Meesh) which is more adult sounding and endearing, in my view.

It's perfect. My oldest daughter's godmother is named Michele, and when my daughter was learning to talk, she couldn't pronounce "Michele;" it came out as "Mimi." The nickname stuck, and my other kids (four in all) all call her Mimi.

i be attentive to a Mimi whose definitely call is Michelle. She hated being spoke of as Shelley. the only names i can think of of for Boo are Barbara and Boudicca, haha! I do think of that Boo is a nickname that doesn't easily could return from an prolonged call, it may basically *be*. Like, honey or sweetheart.

Shelly. You can give what ever nick name you want. My 4 year olds name is Amelia, and for some reason when she was younger if you would ask her what her name was, she would say Mimi, so it stuck as her nick name. The weird thing about it is when I was very young my cousin couldn't say my name, Amanda, and called me Mimi, and everyone on my mom's side of the family still calls me it today.

I hate the thought of calling anyone "Mimi". My sister's name is Michelle, and we call her Mitch.

Nope, how about Mikey?

That's what my friend calls his little sis.

Mimi is, well, that one girl, from The Sims: Bustin' Out, the daughter of the douchebag Malcolm Landgrabb.

Jeez, I'm sidetracking again.
