If you still haven't left yet, then here is some more info. Sounds like a kidney stone alright. As kidney stone are formed in the uterine pelvis, they will travel down. The uterines go from retroperitoneal towards the front on the way to the bladder ( the uterines don't actually make it to the front though, but it can explain why the pain moves). The stones can be painful enough to cause nausea and vomiting. Complications arise when the uterine actually gets torn and urine spills into extracellular space. Pain will mostly likely not subside until the stone is passed. Pain when urinating, oliguria and trace amounts of blood are common. She needs to be seen unless you have toradol handy.

Sorry to hear that. I didn't see your other question but I have recently went through the same thing, but on my right side. The pain was really bad on my lower back then went to the side then started on the abdomen. I'm telling ya, it was the worst pain i ever felt. I went to the emerg that night and docs had to give me morphine for the pain. They were thinking either kidney stones or appendicitis, but like I said, it was on my right side. So , I don't know, maybe its the same. They kept me in for 2 days, but never did find the cause of the pain. If it was a kidney stone i could have passed it in my urine. And if it was appendicitis, it was not showing on tests. I suggest that if it is so bad, take her to the hospital, it cant be good. I wish I could help you some more. Hope your girl feels better soon. Good luck.

It could be her apendix. It sounds like you need to take her to a doctor asap.

Check out this cite
http://www.medicinenet.com/appendicitis/article.htm

Here is a passage from it.

"A less common complication of appendicitis is blockage of the intestine. Blockage occurs when the inflammation surrounding the appendix causes the intestinal muscle to stop working, and this prevents the intestinal contents from passing. If the intestine above the blockage begins to fill with liquid and gas, the abdomen distends and nausea and vomiting may occur. It then may be necessary to drain the contents of the intestine through a tube passed through the nose and esophagus and into the stomach and intestine."

Hope this helps

Sounds like to me that your girlfriend has a kidney infection. She needs to be seen at your local er. If not seen soon she may end up admitted to the hospital because without antibiotics a kidney infection can become very serious. It's also possible that your girlfriend could have kidney stones and that's bad too. So please get her to the er.

Sounds like a problem with her left kidney. Take her to emergency room so that you can talk to a real doctor. Go now.

She could have an ovarian cyst. My sister had one the size of a baseball...very painful...it could be anything..twisted bowel, stones, it is serious, serious, serious...get her to the ER prompto.

A twisted bowel will cause you to vomit. If it's that she will need immediate surgery.
