Lots of us DO!
Those that don't mistakenly think their vote doesn't matter.
Or they think registering is hard, or too "big-brother-ish"
They forget that voting is a PRIVILEGE that many countries do not offer!!!!

Well, in my area a lot of people voted in the recent election. I know because lines were long at the precinct.

Many people don't think their vote counts. But if everybody felt that way and stayed away, we'd be in big trouble as a nation.

I don't believe those who are too apathetic/lazy to vote have any business complaining about election results.

I think I read somewhere that just over half (not sure of the exact numbers) of the eligible voting population actually voted in the last presidential election.

So yes, plenty of people don't vote....why that is I'm not sure.

But I vote! And have ever since I was 18.

Many Americans do vote but many are too lazy or think their vote will not count.

Speak for yourself I'm an American and I've voted in every presidential election since 1968. Even when I was in Viet Nam!

Americans do not vote because they feel that their votes are not counted because of the electoral college.

I vote, it doesn't really matter though, it's just another way to waste 45 min of my day in early November and justify my
b!tching and whining about the current establishment.

Speaking for myself, I feel that if the Supreme Court won't allow our votes to be counted I pretty much do not see the point in the effort to vote.

I despise the Supreme Court because I'm convinced that it all too often is not doing it's job right and they are usurping power that doesn't belong to them. I call them the Supreme Dictators of the United States. And their behavior deflates the reason for us to vote.
