My little brother fell asleep playing with silly putty and now it's all over his pillowcase. I recently got a new washer, so I don't want the holes in the basket to get clogged, and I don't want to get silly putty on any other sheets in a load. Any suggestions?

2 things to try.

1. treat it like gum, and get a piece of ice or use keyboard cleaner to freeze it and pull off.

2. have it dry cleaned, or dip the item in acetone and clean it yourself. The acetone will take the crud out because..it is oil based. but is very flammable, and fumes, so you would want to do this outside with gloves and eye protection.

Some one told me to use WD-40 n it works !!!

But i would advise to do it out side
and when you wash them wash them seperatly from anything else you may have to wash them twice
to get the smell out and use a little bleach.

Good Luck.
