He fooled only 50+% of the voters, it does not make 300 million Americans ! Hitler himself never fooled more than 44% of the German voters.

Hello:
In my opinion, he did not fool an entire country of people. He was, however, elected by them - twice.
The first time he was elected, no one could have predicted 9/11 or the aftermath. While there are reports that Government officials knew of certain things or had recieved reports of a terrorist attack, we do not know how many hundreds of thousands reports they receive each year. America has so much, and we are hated by so many. We don't know the process that our Government goes through when determining the validity of these reports. Also hindsight is 20/20.
And althought now we know that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, we went to war with them at a time when American citizens (and a large part of the world) were demanding our country to hold someone responsible for the event. And even though Iraq was not directly at fault, Saddam Hussein was hardly innocent.
No one can determine what course of action Al Gore would have taken, if he had been elected president.
During the second election, we were in the midst of the war with Iraq. And the majority of the country still voted for Bush. I would hardly consider them "fooled".
On a personal basis, I do not necessarily agree with every decision that President Bush has made. I also know that only a handful of people know exactly what information is presented to our President in order to make decisions. And we all certainly do not know the whole story. Also, no one can know the enormous pressure we as Americans were putting on our Government at that time to find someone responsible.
I hope you know that I am not intending to undermine your opinions. I just believe that there are so many people out there that judge our President and our government officials without understanding or appreciating the complexity of the jobs that these people do.
I hope this helps, and good luck.

I think in a way...he is fooled himself...But his administration has done damage...we are not liked...we are not fighting terroism..we think that the war right now is a direct result of 9/11...which is not EVEN the reason we are in IRAQ---supposedly we are there because of sadam and to create a democracy for them...but somewhere down the line people have intertwined 9/11 with the war, then get really pumped and patriotic thinking we are protecting ourselves when we are really causing more harm.
I hopefully will not be in this country when it falls. NO country stays on top forever- We are a modern day Rome, and anyone who knows/understands history...knows Rome fell. Our time will come because we are ignorantly making more enemies than allys...by our ignorance. *sigh* God help these hateful ignorant prideful people.

Fooled who? Fooled how? Are we not fighting terrorist in Iraq? Duh? Yea! That's the idea. Fight them over there and not here. I'm tired of Panzies. It was ok back in WWII to attack Germany which didn't attck our land and we had 407,000 military deaths in only 4 years back then. Now we get attacked and have lost 3,000 over 4 years and the Democrats want to cut and run. Actually the Democrats are folling people. Telling them we need to get out, we're losing. Study our history son. The Democrats did the same thing back in Viet Nam. Anything to win the white house back. We haven't won a war since WWII. And if we give up like we did in Nam then we will pay 2 fold. This time our attackers want to Kill America and won't stop. That's reality. Now man-up.

many human beings blame Bush for ruinning the financial gadget and messing up the country. in the beginning, Bush can advise a funds to Congress of what he thinks we could constantly be spending money on. This funds is created and reviewed by the place of work of administration and funds interior the administrative brance. This funds then is going to Congress for evaluation and balloting upon. So technically, Bush can basically be in part blamed for a manner money is spent, consisting of in Iraq. yet, that's ultimately Congresses fault for approving the funds. confident, those human beings you elected to symbolize you, are giving the money to bush to do as he needs in Iraq, with the financial gadget and all that different junk. Blame it on Congress for no longer representing the human beings. What he has completed to the country, consisting of ruinning our photograph, is actual; yet after Sept. 11, wasn't the yankee human beings desiring revenge for people who died, did we no longer desire to kill each and every of the terrorists interior the middle East?
