Which velocity? The Eath is spinning at a rate of 1 revolution/ 24 hours (about 18 miles per second) and whizzing around the Sun at about 66,600 mph. Also the Eath is moving with the entire galaxy through space.

what is the reference system in which I run 5 m/s? What is the relative velocity of that reference system to the earth? The answer to your question is the sum of your answers to mine.

You have to first define a reference frame.
Are you talking about an inertial or non-inertial earth fixed frame? As well, what direction are you running?
