Women, it seems, get or need to be mentally stimulated during sex, where men tend to be more physically stimulated. Am I wrong?

also...another version...Can a woman who is interested in a guy, have sex with that guy without having emotions involved?

In my own experiences and judging by my female friends and relatives, I have not found any women who can have sex without their emotions being involved. I think when a woman has sex with a man, she gives a piece of herself up too. ( not that kind of piece) I guess it depends on the woman and how they were raised, though; not every woman is the same.

It really depends on the woman and on the man. If the woman feels that sex comes with emotional attachment and vice versa, then no. But it can go that way for men, too. Also, not all women need to be "mentally stimulated" during sex. Lots of women sleep around and don't seem to have any attachment to their partners.

In a word, yes. I have slept with many men I had no romantic feelings for at all. It did me no harm, I experienced some amazing things and lived a single lifestyle. I've even experienced irritation when they wouldn't leave quickly enough in the morning. So I'd say from personal experience it is entirely possible.
However, I will say that sex with someone you have feelings for can be a midblowingly intense experience. So if I had to pick a drunken rut with a guy I liked the look of in a club to someone I'd liked for months who was special in some way to me, I'd pick the latter.

I can only speak for myself...

I would not be able to have a sexual relationship with someone whom I like and have no plans to further the relationship.

I am not one to do casual sex. I have to be physically attracted to the guy and want to be more than just friends.

Even just thinking about having sex with my male friends makes me almost sick to my stomach !! YUK... I just don't think of them that way. Men on the other hand will screw anything I think...friend or not.

Just MY observation.

Some can and do go looking for sex and nothing more.

The culture of the people has a lot to do with how they feel about sex.

I sure am glad they are there.

You're not wrong. But a woman can have sex without any feelings attached.

Sure we can. But you're right in theory... most women are more emotional about it than most men are... but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a good shag just for the sake of a shag lol.

I haven't been successful with that. And I don't think it's worth it. Sex is SOOO much better when emotions are involved, and it's about more than sex.

It's impossible for a girl to have sex without making an emotional connection. It's the nature of women, it's how we're made!
