Finding out what makes YOU happy. We are all individuals and there is no "One size fits all" when it comes to happiness.
Finding out what makes you happy and doing just that will make you happy.

As an example, I will tell you what makes me happy. This might not work for you but it works for me, again, like I said, you have to find out what makes you happy.

I am happiest when I am not restricted. When I can do things when I want to and how I want to. By knowing that, I have tailored my desicions to support that, (I don't have a husband, boyfriend, kids or any major responsibility that will restrict me in what I want to do right now or what I might want to do later on in life)

That is not the only thing that makes me happy, there are other things too, a few that I can think of right now are listed below:

I am happiest when:

1. I explore and learn new things.
2. I travel and see and learn about other cultures
3. I am cooking a delicious meal for my guests.
4. I am alone and have lots of time for my self
5. I am contemplating, daydreaming, imagining, visualizing, etc.
6. I am reading a book or a magazine.
7. I am talking to one person as opposed to a group

I think you get the drift now.

In life the key to happiness is being honest and true to yourself.. You can't live a lie and no happiness will ever abound in one.. You must also have the capacity to love yourself, no one else will if you can't.. Most people I know that are not happy aren't happy with themselves, they have low self esteems and poor outlooks on life.. After a little encouragement they walk away with a better outlook on life and seem to have a better grip on happiness.. I feel like if we encourage each other more we all will be better off.. If you know someone now who fits into this unhappy category share some kind words with them and give them a boost, if you fit into this category then find your best friend and spill to him(her) that's what friends are for.. Hope this helps..

The keys to happiness are 1) knowing God 2) knowing yourself 3) having good self-esteem. The rest will follow like friends, a man or woman, career or job, etc. etc.etc.

Happiness is a state of 'mind'...Feed the mind with positive inputs and the truth at all times; your mind will pay back with perpetual happiness...

Think positive all time, never complain nothing.Think logic, instead to think with your feelings.Do not never be a quitter, never give up;do not let nobody put you down, never.Think all problems, always have a way out,a way how to solve them.Pray everyday to God,give thanks for all you have, and for all you will have in your future.Good question. Also be confident, and have a high self-esteem of yourself.Never participate of gossip stuff.

There are more than one, here are a few:

Being content with what you have (and not having to have more).
Seeing the humor in life and laughing often.
Accepting yourself as you are and loving yourself.
