yes as people repeatedly posted, it's 48 cubic feet...

I'm guessing that they want you to give it in volume units, like a litre...

so you need to convert 48 cubic feet into litres:
1 cubic foot = 28.316847 litres
thus the answer in litres is 48*28.32 = _______
