THEY ALL charge WAY TOO MUCH not only for the TICKET but for the damn bottled water. ITS A CRAZY joke, and aside from that- its one of the most boring days you can spend U NLESS youre a tourist who is there to BUY THINGS and take pictures. Its sincerely a waste of time and money. Oh and if youre going for "rides" expect to stand in LINE about an HOUR or MORE.

Ok, first off, I'm going to clear up a few things. Who ever suggest going to a Universal Studios park instead is ridiculous. (There's a reason why Walt Disney World's annual attendance records continue to climb by at least five percent while the Unviersal Studios parks annual attendance records continue to decline by almost ten percent! Walt Disney World is much better and Universal Studios can't even compare.) Also, if you only have one day - which I'm assuming is the case since your decision is between two parks - DO NOT get a Park Hopper pass. It will be a huge waste of money. The woman said "you can see all four parks in one day," but that's highly unlikely. There's no way you'd be able to do that unless you only rode one ride at each park, and that wouldn't be worth it at all. When you factor in the amount of time it'll take to walk to the attractions you want to see, wait in line to get on the rides, ride the rides, and then get to another park, there's just not much time as you need to ride the rides.

I would recommend EPCOT if you're spending an entire day at the park. EPCOT is much larger and has a lot more to offer. EPCOT has three rides that they consider to be "Big Thrills" - Mission: SPACE, Test Track, and Soarin'. All are amazing. Mission: SPACE is almost too intense for me, Test Track is one of my favorite rides at Walt Disney World, and Soarin' is a must-see. There's many other rides, as well as a few 3D shows, the wonderful World Showcase, a fabulous selection of restaurants, and an incredible fireworks/pyrotechnics show. Another thing I love about EPCOT are the tours. They have a great selection of theme park tours - DiveQuest, the Seas Aqua Tour, Dilphins in Depth, and the Segway Tour. I took the Seas Aqua Tour and it was so amazing. We got to go swimming in the aquarium tank with the sharks, rays, and sea turtles. It was so cool!

Now, Disney -MGM Studios has a few great attractions, but it doesn't take long at all to compete the park. I can't spend more than an afternoon there. After a few hours it starts getting boring. There's just not that much to do. The "Big Thrills" at Disney - MGM Studios are the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Star Tours- the ultimate Star Wars thrill ride. Besides that there's a couple other rides - the Backlot Tour and the Great Movie Ride. There's the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! which is pretty cool. The Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt show is so awesome. At night they have Fantasmic! which is a great show with all kinds of Disney characters and pyrotechnics.

I would go with EPCOT, but it depends on how much time you want to spend at a park. If you're not going to be there all day then go with Disney - MGM Studios. If you have the whole day then go with EPCOT. EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom are my favorite parks. There's a lot of rides at the Magic Kingdom, but only two are considered "Big Thrills" - Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Either way, though, whatever you choose, you'll have a great time.

Hope I could help!

All the Disney parks are awesome. As to them being expensive, I can't deny that - but they are so worth it if you enjoy that kind of thing. No other theme parks in the world can compare to the theming and sense of wonder of Disney World. If it's your first time visiting, I'd really recommend the Magic Kingdom just because it was the original WDW park and there is so much to do there. It really, better than any other park probably, captures that sense of magic of being in a Disney park. As far as "big thrills" go, the MGM Studios probably has the best combination of thrill rides with Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster. Epcot also has a bunch of fun rides. But like I said, there is so much to do at the Magic Kingdom (for people of all ages) that it's worth checking out first. Maybe you'll fall in love with it like I did (though I was a child when I first went).

If you're ONLY interested in thrill rides, Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure might be more up your alley, as IOA in particular has a couple of great roller coasters, Dr. Doom's Fear Fall (not as good as Tower of Terror, but not bad) and Spiderman (probably one of the best dark rides anywhere in the world). Universal Studios has one of my favorite roller coasters, The Mummy.

If this is between MGM and EPCOT then I'd go with EPCOT but if it's all 4 of the major parks then the easy pick would have to be Magic Kingdom, there is just so much more to do there.

In addition to the Tower of Terror and the Rockin' Roller Coaster, MGM has an amazing car stunt show. My husband works for Disney, and we've gone to MGM just to see the stunt show. I do agree with the other person who suggested a park hopper pass. You can do all 4 parks in one day... just hit the best rides at each one!

yeah, and MGM has the rockin roller coaster, which is really fast and fun. But that is pretty much it. Epcot has that test track, and the new ride, soarin'. Maybe get a park hopper pass?

Both Epcot and MGM are great and both have good rides. Epcot is better because it has Mission Space which is just awesome.

MGM is far better than Epcot. Epcot I found boring and the rides weren't all that thrilling.

They are all great. It depends on your personal opinion. My favorite will always be the Magic Kingdom because that's Walt's influence. The magic is there that just isn't at the other parks.
