Let her do her thing and use it to your advantage. I mean my house is so clean I could eat off of the floor from living with my partner who has mild OCD. I can move one of her figurines a bare fraction of an inch and she can tell. She constantly straightens pictures, refolds the throw on the couch, which is folded so neatly it can no longer really be called a "throw."

I do know what you mean though. I guess I've just learned to ignore it and have fun with it. Some days I move things around just for the heck of it. I say if you love your wife you'll figure out a way not to let it get to you.

If she is into cleaning and stuff like that. Let her, I mean they say OCD has something to do with how the brain works. I have a friend the same way, you just give her space to be herself and do her thing. You may end up with a very clean house from it.

Make sure she takes her medicine. She may try to skip it thinking she can handle it. Also, watch her and see if she needs her medicine adjusted.

With proper medicine OCD can be controlled, on most people, so they can lead a normal life.

Sometimes I think we all have a little OCD, it just has to be severe to be noticed by others.

Find the humor in it and embrace the chaos. i don't think the looney bin would be all that bad look at it as vacation.

Just help her out with her weird habits.

I have this thing where I ALWAYS have to check the stove to see if it's off. And I do that on my way out. He does this for me. He automatically checks everything else too because I check other things before I leave my house. "Okay... the stove is off, the lights are off, your computer is off, etc. etc." It's sweet.

Just help her out and have patience.

Sounds like it'd be nice having a wife like that. Just give her a bunch of chores

i have ocd and it takes a real patient guy to put up with me, your wording of this question concerns me though, maybe you should also practice being compassionate and supportive.

either you deal with it in your head or you cant and must leave. Which option sounds worse...together or apart? Plus...she needs you...hang in there, have a budweiser 16 Oz. or few.
