I always start off the season by baking cookies. This year, I have made a new friend that I will be sharing her kitchen to bake cookies, all kinds of cookies. Im planning to put up the tree next week, and although Ive completed a little shopping online so far, I will begin to head out and face the crowds and hear the jingling bells at the store front. I will see my own breath in the cold air. I will smell the burning remnants from neighbors chimneys. (I have a chimney, but dont use it...hehe) I will make all kinds of food and apple cider. Tis the season to be jolly... and when it comes down to it, I will remember the reason behind christmas. And be thankful for all that I have in my life.

I took my godson to the local shopping centre & there was a picture of Santa there, he said to me when I grow up I want to be Mr Whippy [the ice-cream & doughnut man] & when I get really old & Santa wants to retire I'll do his job. He's 8. Kids make christmas special & their enthusiasm is contagious. Pitty the Christmas spirit isn't around all year.

Over all I would agree with you. However I work in retail for the first time and I'm not liking what I'm seeing. So many rude and impatient people. I just smile so they don't get to me! Atleast so far the nice ones out way the grumps.

Yep

Although we'll probably see a barage from Troll Atheists on December 24 and 25.

I love the holidays and the spirit of giving thanks, and to show your appreciation. It's one of my favorite times of the year because in New York there are so many things going on like the Holiday tree lighting in Rockefeller, and the Macy's day window-shopping. I love seeing all the decorations and the lights on houses too.

Kind of . .I just went to the grocery store to buy a few things and there were people attacking me with their baskets . not all although I smiled and wished the cashier happy holidays as I left the store. I am trying to be in the Holiday spirit.
