I thought it would be cool to change my laptop from an 1.8 to a 2.0g. How do you do this

You would not notice the difference, so cool no!
The extra load would burn the chip out, so hot yes!

Replace the CPU chip itself, don't even think about overclocking on a laptop, the overheating will destroy the computer in less than a couple of minutes.

If even possibly, I wouldn't. Laptops are very acutely designed to handle heat transfer in a specific manner. Any 'tweaks' could burn the thing up.

dont do anything with a laptop's insides dude trust me, my dad did it once and his motherboard blow up maan , just buy a new one as if you teak anything you will have to buy a new one anyway.
