Heh, I've been in this situation a few times before.
Well, all I can tell you is that it's very important to not seem like you are taking sides. Talk to each of your friends seperately, and sympathize with their side of the argument. At the same time, with a *very delicate* hand, try to drop at least a few explanations of why the other friend thinks the way they do. Most of these kinds of arguments are serious lack of communication, and can be resolved when both parties actually figure out what's going on in each others' heads.
On the other hand, sometimes you just have to let things cool down before you can even hope to help.
Good luck!

I think you are a great friend by listening and let them to vent, but if this is getting you stress out then you let them know. You are them friends and doesnt mean is all about how they feel but too how you feel. In a nice way you can let them know...

well friends are very important i know this may be easy for me to say but you should get them together and just tell them that you are tired of being in the middle of their fight and then help them find a solution so that you can go back to being BFF'S again. good luck

Don't talk to them for a day or two, they will get together to see if the other has talked to you, they will start focusing on you to find out where you have been, and they will have forgotten all about fighting.
