No i have ferrets
DO NOT use a flea collar!
Do not use flea collars on ferrets for any reason. Not only is the material in the collar often toxic but contact with the collar can cause serious skin irritation. In addition, the ferret can get the collar wedged over the lower jaw if they tried to chew it off or he/she could choke to death if the collar gets caught on something in the environment. The ferrets at greatest risk of developing a toxic reaction to even a “safe” product include those that are under 3 months of age, are ill, have hair loss and thinning of the skin, in a poor nutritional state or on on medication.
There are good shampoos for kittens useable on ferrets and will work if directions are followed. Remember to comb out all the fleas left on the ferret when rinsing. CHECK YOUR FERRET DAILY FOR FLEAS. Do not use the flea shampoo daily as they can be harsh on the skin.

Do not use a flea collar. It's toxic. It won't work and the ferret will likely try to eat it anyway. Use Advantage. Get a dose for a cat under 9 pounds and use half the tube. Better yet get a flea comb a pick those bastards off one at a time and kill them with the back or your finger nail. Very satisfying.

No. They're too small to handle the pesticides on a flea collar. Even a flea collar made for kittens/puppies might be too much for your ferret. If he has fleas, you'll just have to take him to the vet and they'll be able to distribute a proper treatment for an animal that size with that type of genetic structure.

I would say no. You may not know this, but a flea collar can only be used on animals with thick enough and a certian kind of skin, not to meation fur. I would call a vet or the pet store and ask before you put it on the animal.

There are now flea products (shampoos and sprays) on
the market specifically designed for ferrets. If you
are unable to find a ferret-specific product, you can
use one that is safe for kittens. Products with
rotenone or pyrethrin are all right, but keep in mind
that ferrets may lick sprays or powders when they
groom themselves or each other so use caution with
these products. Do not use flea dips or flea collars
on your ferret, regardless of whether they are safe
for kittens. Do not use products that contain
organo-phosphates on your ferret.

No, and flea and tick collars don't really work all that well on fleas, it works better with ticks. It is best to go with a shampoo and medicated flea killer

Im fairly sure that the pesticides or whatever they may be will poison the ferrit and most likely make it extremely ill, cause brain damage, or kill it.
