Moon Signs?

Question

Can anyone tell me the signifigance of moon signs? Are they as important as sun signs? Could you tell me what mine is? I was born 6 Aug, 1988 in North America. At 8:58 am, if that is important, lol. Thanks.

Your moon is probably in Gemini; I'd say about 3 or 4 degrees. You have two really good things in your birth chart. Your sun is Leo and it's at home in that sign, which astrologers call "in dignity" and it is in good aspect to Mars which is also at home in Aries which means your energies(Mars) are well tuned to your true self(Sun) and they are both positive and powerful. I haven't done the precise mathematical calculations but you should also have moon in conjunction with Jupiter which gives you a sunny disposition and an optimistic outlook. Where the moon is placed and what it aspects determine your temperment and your emotional makeup.

There are the three most significant parts of anybody's natal chart: The sun sign, the moon sign, and the rising sign.

Your sun sign is who you are at your core. Your rising sign is the "mask" that you wear to the outside world.

Your moon sign rules over your emotions. You should go to www.astro.com and make yourself a birth chart. That will tell you where the moon was at the time you were born. You do need to use your exact location and exact time to get an accurate moon sign. If you find it, you can repost and I can give you some interpretations if you'd like :)

The Moon is the most important factor in a horoscope .It represents the mind. The inner mind called "Chitta" and the outer mind is called 'intelligence'. It acts as the ascendant when it is powerful.
