A "bobtail" is the front part of a tractor trailer, with no trailer attached.

Are you serious? A bobtail is an eighteen wheeler without the trailer.

bob-tail means w/o the truck. Most don't realize how even more dangerous the truck is. The brake system is designed for both, not one. In simple language, the truck is so light they can't stop even with all brakes,,,,they usually slide into the back end of cars..

not sure but if I had a whole fleet of those get out there and look. that's if I really had a fleet.
