I don't want anything either, so I can identify with your problem. How about a cake you baked, cookies, loaf of bread? Or fix them a nice meal and invite them over. A bottle of wine is nice if they drink wine, or a floral arrangement they could admire and appreciate. Good Luck.....I drive my kids crazy too!

A bottle of wine. The clerk can help you pick out a nice one. Or they have those HUGE bottles that come up to your hips for about $150. I have always thought they would make a great gift.
My boss is uber wealthy - and a fantastic boss - he lives alone and is in his 70s. My staff and I got together and bought him a pair of lovebirds last year. They were a hit and certianly not something he would have thought of on his own.

What Kondar said, or a beautiful plant, perhaps an orchid. A pretty box of good chocolates is great too. I once got a very lovely painted little tea box.
It doesn't have to be big or expensive, just as well made as you can afford.

you're on the money with the present certificates. additionally, you're able to desire to grant them some certificates for babysitting presented via you (at 0 fee to you and them) so as that they are in a position to have a date evening each now and then. have faith me, once you have a sprint toddler you could not bypass watch a movie till they start up college or so, you could not have a respectable meal in a eating place with out feeding or a tantrum till they're approximately 3-4. i think of that they had benefit from the time to themselves.

I think they would be greatly appreciated and touched if you give them something personal and from your heart.
Maybe write them soemthing to let them know how much they have touched your life and the wonderful lessons you've learned through your relationship with them.
And, maybe a simple gift basket combining small trinkets of things you know they would enjoy - chocolates, framed pictures, something about their past (maybe from where they honeymooned together).
Usually sharing your time with them is the most precious thing of all.
Just some ideas.

Gourmet gift basket, either one you do up yourself or a purchased one. LL Bean has some cute ones, check them out, at least for an idea.

Get them a giftcard to a nice restaurant. That way they can go out on a date together sometime. Everyone likes to eat.
