or you could buy off some kids to play under your name by splitting the gum between them, because teens will do anything for gum, or giving it all to their manager...
You could also be smart enough to talk around the subject enough that they are thoroughly confused and don't know what the heck they are agreeing to, and you can have them for free...!
If it's that Dentine Ice gum or whatever from the commercials, that's supposed to be irresistible, so you'd have the team completely under your power, and you could buy more gum with the money for them to remain in such a state!

Go down to the local hangout and devide the $ 4.75 between the guys and tear the gum into enough parts, get out the football and hollar "Lets go team".
Then run off to the field.
