#1 Bellagio - $$$$
#2 MGM - $$
#3 Venetian - $$$$
#4 Mirage - $$$
#5 Monte Carlo - $$
#6 Mandalay Bay - $$$
Mandalay Bay would earn a higher rating from me but it's on the far south end of the strip away from everything. Bellagio and Venetian are probably the nicest hotels on the strip and although they're on the expensive side, you'll get what you pay for. The Mirage is in the best strip location of the six I've mentioned but can be on the boring side unless the only thing you're interested in is gambling (it's a high roller casino similar to Caesar's). Monte Carlo is nice, clean, won't break your pocketbook, and is also in a good location. My reccommendation is MGM... great location, huge casino, several restaurants, night clubs, bars, shopping... you name it and the MGM has got it.
Honorable mention: Hard Rock Hotel. Their casino is a blast for the 30's crowd. The pool area is great too. The only problem is its location off the strip.

ALL Hotels are also casinos in las vegas. If you care about which casinos you are going to ( the big name casinos).. then you will want to stay in the center strip.
The Flamingo is the best value hotel in Las Vegas. Smack dab in the middle of the strip and around the big names. It is relatively cheap, and good quality hotel.
Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and the Venetian (the big names) are all right next to each other. They are all very equal in quality, with Bellagio being the most elegant, and Caesars Palace being the best casino.
The Wynn is on a good location as well, and is ultimate in high class. But imo is not good for entertainment. (its nightclub isnt good)
The MGM is a little bit south of the action but is still a good hotel. HUGE though, and the rooms are a bit on the small side. Everything you could ever want to do is inside the MGM Grand.
My recommendation:
Caesars Palace. PURE nightclub, best slots, and a luxurious hotel. The only downside of it is that it is a tad old but thats okay.

I guess it depends on what you want out of your hotel. I really like the Flamingo because it's pretty cheap for being right on the strip... it's right in the middle of the strip so it's easy to get around.... the monorail is close.... the pool is really nice... and most people are pretty much just in their hotel room when they stagger in and pass out for the night -- or morning. I've stayed at other places and didn't really use the room that much so why not stay at a decent place that's cheap and in the middle of everything?

Would have to agree with Caesar's, which, eventhough one of the oldest hotel/casino in Vegas, it is still one of the best. To confirm this just walk in the front doors and look at that beautiful sculpture and all that marble. It is the best centrally located hotel in Vegas, hands down. Also the pools will leave you in awe

That relies upon on you and your budget. I certainly have stayed at a great array of inns in Vegas. From the final of the final, right down to a pair very uncomplicated ones. and every time i circulate I get exhilaration from myself as plenty because of the fact the final. in case you choose a youthful occasion lodge.. verify out problematical Rock, the palms, Mandalay Bay, Planet Hollywood. in case you choose a organic luxury lodge and are not afraid to spend a sprint extra suitable... verify out the Bellagio, Venetian, Caesers, Wynn. Or in case you only choose a mid priced lodge in a stable region.. verify out Flamingo, Ballys, or Harrahs.

If you have money to spend I would say Caesers. But the best hotel on the strip for location, pool, and and affordable price is the Flamingo (right across from Caesers). Its not five stars but all around its okay

That's easy... Bellagio. This is the most plush resort on the strip. Everyone is treated as a high roller. I have stayed there at least a dozen times and have never had a bad experience.

Depends on your budget - I've stayed at Circus Circus, Monte Carlo and the MGM and loved them all. The best advise I could give is aim somewhere central. Next time i'd love to stay at TI
