I am a guitarist/songwriter who can not find musicians, do you think this would be a good option for me. Have you used it?

I think you would be crazy to do that. I've had nothing but trouble relying on electronics. If I were you, pick up that gutiar and make musics that sounds good for just you. Or if you want to record, just overdub yourself at a studio or on a good recording program.

idunno. im a bass player and my rig consists of an ampeg ba115 amp, a danelectro t bone distortion pedal, and an ibanez soundgear 4 string... and it makes me happy
