Well, I love this questions cause I hate to cry in movies.
I have cried at allot so I am going to name the saddest and most memorable to date:

I cried at black beauty, cause I just couldn't believe that the horse found its owner.
Forrest Gump, I was Little young to understand at the time but I just was floored when she is dying and she listens to all of Forrest's places he had been, and then when he is talking to her at her grave under their tree. He loved her so much. I hope I am loved that much, but I hope I return the love.
then there is The notebook. AHHHH what a breath of fresh air.
The ending is just so perfect and touching I had no other choice but to cry! Its just the perfect ending. I couldn't hold back the tears.
oh and I shouldn't forget I am SAM.
I am an only daughter, my father raised me for the majority of my life, I sympathized more than anything that he wanted to keep his daughter. It was just sooooo touching. so I cried at that one too.
So there you have it. My favorite saddest movies. there are so many more that are touching but are not as moving as these.

i don't watch movies plenty yet there is one that i got here across very very unhappy. It exchange into Partition, a tale with regard to the partition between India and Pakistan. that's a love tale between a muslim lady and a Sikh guy. He saves her life on a similar time as the different sikhs are out to kill muslims. at last they fall in love and marry. the girl afterwards learns that her family members escaped from the massacre. Her 2 brothers and mom are alive on a similar time as basically her father died. She is going to fulfill them and that they don't enable her to return to her husband. The latter is going to seek for her. He won't be able to circulate the border except he's muslim so he converts to Islam for the girl's sake. finally the girl's mom enables her run away however the brothers discover out and persist together with her. It finally ends up with one brother killing the husband in front of the girl by utilising throwing him in front of a prepare. you ought to truly watch this movie yet i'm warning you, you're ganna cry plenty and be bowled over by utilising the bloodshed too!

I don't really know what the saddest is, but I know that everytime I watch The Shawshank Redemption, I get choked. It is a really great movie, rent it if you have never seen it, well worth it.

Now that I think of it, the Titanic is a killer also, but very long.

Not really sad, as it has a fairly good ending but AWAKENINGS is very moving.

Mainly because it's based on a true story of how people lost years of their lives through misdiagnosis, and midtreatment, in mental institutions.

Robin Williams & Robert De Niro were absolutely stunning in their roles
