It's a fabulous experience. You decorate how you want. You eat whenever & whatever you want. You sleep or don't sleep whenever you want . You decide what music , what TV you listen to and watch. The list is endless with that independance. One thing to keep in mind, you'll miss them

There is no risk, but if you live far away from them then there is a risk that you might lose the close bond you have with them, I am not saying completely but some, it also depends on you age.
