something HUGE is missing in their relationship...and this applies to men or women....whether it's sex or love or attention or whatever....something is missing or they wouldn't be looking elsewhere.
There are SOME who cheat just to cheat, for the thrill of not getting caught or just want more variety....but for most there is a much bigger reason.

It all depends on whether your married or not. If your married its cheating, if your not married, it isn't cheating. You don't own him, he can do whatever the hell he likes, but if your married, then he shouldn't be cheating, if he is then you have to ask yourself one question and that question is.....
What am I bringing to the table? and your answer should be either A, Slops or B. Gourmet. If its A, then you need too look at yourself and make that change...If you want Gourmet, buy Gordon Ramsey's Secrets
Use this question in all aspects of your life.
Sex, What am I bringing to the table. If your like a lifeless blow up doll, then this isn't good, most men, if not all men, love women that dress up, play games, and suggest things, find things you both like and never done before.
Conversation, What am I bringing to the table. If your nagging or moaning all the time, then guys don't want to hear this
Entertainment, What am I bringing to the table, what do you do together? Sport? Cinema? Restaurant?
If your married don't give them an excuse to cheat. If your not married but want to be married, then follow the above rules. Make him yours

Sex with the same person over a long period becomes boring. 80% males and 30% of the married women have lovers on the side from time to time. There is a chemical pheromone reaction that drives us sexually and some times having an affair reignites our desires for our spouses. This very chemical reaction is what drew us to our partners and after a while it wanes. I think every long term mar rage should have an affair from time to time. It actually strengthens the marriages in many cases. Considering the 50% divorce rate we should allow our partners to wander to another bed from time to time as long as they come home. It is going to happen anyways

I think the most common reason is sex or lack of. When it comes to cheaters you will always hear these answers : I am in a very unhappy marriage, l love my wife but she doesn't understand me, we have not slept together for ages, I am leaving my wife, l just don't love her anymore, and so on and so on. Why don't guys take some responsibility for the way their wives feel, You know it could well be the way they are treated by their husbands that turns them off. I am sure that's not always true but in some cases it certainly is. Come on guys don't cheat, if you can't handle your marriage JUST LEAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys aren't the only ones who cheat, so I'm always confused as to why this question is asked. Women cheat just as much. What you think when men have affairs they only do so with single women?
Please, the question should be why do people cheat.
I agree with Mensa, it's to fill a void. A person has to learn how to handle their own emotional mess and not use other people to do that. Being married doesn't solve all of your life problems, you're still left with yourself after being married and have to deal with the same issues of loneliness, personal growth, etc. that you do when single. Some people are used to running from problems and never solving them and thus run from one person to the next without really sitting down and dealing with themselves.

I have never cheated but have come close to cheating because my girl was "never" in the mood. Not getting any from your girl will drive a guy to cheat.

It isn't always a lack of something within their relationship, or that some big fault lies in their partner... sometimes it's because they (man or woman) falls in love or lust with a different person, and is compelled enough that they do cheat.

Lack of their mates understanding, caring, attention, sensuality,responsiveness, thoughtlessness shall I go on.
It is also lack of a true relationship and partnership, not many
couples actually have that.
One is too interested in controlling the other or trying to impose their thoughts on the other. Not genuinely listening to them and
respecting what they have to say.
