To play black belt karate...

First you must visit the dojo. You can do so by clicking the door in the community center downtown or you can click the "visit the dojo" link on the left hand navigation bar.

After you've found the dojo click on the sensei (red haired woman) and she will welcome you and tell you what you need to do for your first task. Once you've completed that task you need to return to the dojo and click on the robot to play the game or go to the arcade and choose "Black Belt Karate" from the games list.

To progress in the game there are two separate components.

#1 You acutally have to play the game which requires using your keyboard to block hits on a robot dummy and to hit a robot dummy. Each play gives you a certain % toward your next belt. As you go up in belt levels the % you get per play is lower and lower. On the black belt level you get only 1% per score submit (you get 2% on 1 of every 10 submits).

#2 Each belt level has a different task associated with it. When you finish all the classes for your belt (the dojo screen will show that your classes are at 100%) click on the sensei and she will give you your next belt and tell you about the next task. Each task is very different.
