they dont help at all, they are for all the guys in the nba with tatoos with vulgarities on them (swears, sex, ect) so yah they dont do anything except maybe keep your arm warm.

they kidn of give you a different kind of feel for the arm with the sleeve on, feels different, and also makes you feel like you can make more shots go in with it, it also keeps ur arm warm but it also compresses it
