because you feel insecure and angry, but you haven't figured out why you are angry.

Well, as your question is so explicit about your age, profession...etc..it is pretty hard to give you an answer.
I can only surmise that your aggression has been built up though negative experiences. Aggression can be a "cry for help" and also a valve to let off steam. Personally I have learnt to control aggression, as aggression only provokes aggression, which consequently brings absolutely nothing! I think everyone is latently aggressive in their way, because I am sure everyone reaches a stage in life where they say to themselves...I cannot accept this situation, or the people here etc..etc...so you do something about it.
Aggression does not just mean ..lashing out or hitting someone etc. but can also be understood as a way of standing up for yourself, for your rights and ideas. Be aggressive, but not physically!
Good luck!

it's all in your genes!
numerous studies have been made and even aired on tv that qualified evidence of a mother's prevailing emotional state in relation to her child's testosterone levels and their abilities to deal with things like sports and stressful situation.
it went to the extent that a scientist could tell their mother's prevailing emotional condition from studying the lengths of one's fingers against each other and even how well athletes who were strangers to each other, would do against each other in a race
and the artist involved only got one wrong calculation!
so it's all in your genes and in how you've developed coping mechanisms.
if you find coping mechanisms to handle those situations where you would normally be aggressive i.e. thinking about what's important to you and having a list of what you want to say in your head while concentrating on keeping your voice low.
or focusing your attention away from the aggravating situation and concentrating on things like affection or humour or other non agressive things or simply walking away to stay calm.
but you asked why you're aggressive and not what you can do about it :-) so I think i'll stop 'cos i've already question!

Usually aggressive people have anger to dispel. Anger can be dealt with by various methods, I get rid of mine with a hammering game of badminton, as I whack the shuttlecock I dispel my anger by thinking about what or who caused it. This in turn gets rid of any pent up aggression. Ive even been known to write a name of a person on the base of the shuttle and keep slamming it until its worn off. Worth a try - good fun - keeps me fit. Give it a go.

Well how are you agressive....maybe you need to talk about any problems you've been having. Like dont let issues build up, let out your anger by talking about it. Also you can take kick boxing and let anger our that way?!?

Hard to say, are you overly competitive? Or do you think people won't take you seriously unless you get in their face. Maybe it's a reaction to a medication you take. There are so many possibilities it is impossible to say without having some background on you the person.

What are you aggressive about? Are you aggressive in an angry way? In a violent way? Or are you simply aggressive in that you don't give up on the things that you want? What makes you feel aggressive? Do you feel uncomfortable being aggressive?
I think if you can answer any or all of those questions, you can answer the question you asked.
