Does Michigan deserve another shot at them? A three point loss on the road to the team thought to be number one all season is clearly going to be the "best" loss of any of the one loss teams (if ND beats USC, then their loss to UM would be second, but that was at home and an asskicking)...so rematch based just soley on the fact that Michigan is the second best team in the country or did they have their shot?

(oh and for the record, I am a Michigan fan and I am not sure I want the risk of losing to OSU twice in one season, even though I think they could get them at home or a neutral site)

I'm a Buckeye Fan. I admit based on the closeness of the Game I do Feel UM should get another shot. That game could have went either way. On the other Hand. I think the BCS wants teams from different conferences and that may be the deciding factor. Plus to have UM vs OSU again kind of steals the thunder away for the great rival tradition we have for one another meeting at the end of the year for the last game. What a rivalry! It has to be hard to be UM fan with Tressels record of 5-1 against UM and at the same time you have a good coach up there, but falls short when facing Tressel. We will have a hard time next year. We are losing too much.

this year is undoubtedly the most controversial year of the BCS.

although i am a trojan, i will admit that michigan is the #2 team right now. but do they deserve a shot at the national championship? yes, because they are the #2 team.

but no, because if michigan and ohio state play again for the national championship, and if michigan wins it, would they REALLY be the national champion? ohio state would probably have the biggest beef with that.

i would have to say USC deserves it more if they win-out. even if they're still #3.

Gator's aren't going anywhere.

USC is probably the most likely team to play Ohio State in the National Championship.

Go Buckeyes!!

Think about it this way.

If Michigan DOES get a second chance and beats them. they will probably be Co-National Champions because it would be a win-win series. That's no fun.
