No not really. The reason all these people think that video games are diminishing our youth is because these cases in which kids kill people or themselves and said they were influenced by violent videogames. Or when people say it was the videogames fault is untrue. Now videogames could incourage violent acts but the kids that do these things have to have a physcological problem in which they dont understand that you cant do those things in real life thats why the make video games to get you of reality for a while but some kids just cant snap out of or are not mature enough to handle video games and realize its not real. Maturity plays a big role. Little kids that are raised around violence and violent things have more of a chance of doing these things. It all depends on the person. For a normal mature person no I think video games are fun and entertaining now I will agree some games should be banned for being just morally wrong and unethical. Like I said a mature mentally healthy person possibly would never be influends by video games because they no the game is fake and is made to entertain and have fun with and plus they probably wouldnt want to do or have the urge to do violent messed up things. No young kids shouldnt be allowed to play certain games. Thats the world for ya. The world is getting worse and worse as time goes by.

No. I mean, if I was a bumbling idiot, would I be able to tell you nine times five is forty-two?
I'm just kidding there. It's a joke (And a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, for those of you who are familiar with it. If you know exactly what I'm talking about, props to you.) I happen to be a big fan of video games. I get on the honor role every marking period. Another friend of mine who's also in to video games gets distinguished honors every marking period. I think video games are fairly safe for the young mind.

I don't think so. I've played video games since I was 7 or 8 when Super Nintendo came out. I'm 18 now and I still play video games. I'm in AP and honors classes and I get straight A's every quarter. So I don't think that video games are bad for children.

Oh my gosh ...YES!!!! I mean i go over to my cousins house..and he has like a 3.0 and aalways plays the video games...me i never do and i have a 3.9! They're so addicting that you want to drop evrything and play. Its ridiculouse how they advertise to make kids play the games and make adults think their children are learning from it.
