he moved to wichita because his mom and dad got a divorce. he was orginally going to stay in smallville but after the FBI guy beat him up and tired to get him to tell him about clark, he decided he should go with his mom so something like that wouldn't happen again. but i really wish he would come back because clark needs a "guy friend" because his dad is gone, plus lex and the green arrow are that great at the friend thing

Pete was beat up by a couple of Lex Luthers men, because he refused to tell them Clarks secret. Pete left Smallville and moved to Metropolis because he could'nt bear Clarks secret anymore.

The character was written out as having moved to Wichita w/ his mom. It was soon after he convinced Clark to say him after getting caught up in street Racing. Clark had to steal/borrow one of Lex's cars, and the bad guy was killed in a car crash because they were using K as a fuel booster and Clark was unable to help him. In the 'Super hearing' ep. he was kidnapped and used to blackmail his mom, a judge, into releasing a criminal.Clark saved the day, and they made up, but I think Pete got to monologue about not being worthy of being his friend and needing to get away from town to adjust to the divorce, and trauma of the above mentioned episodes

Shortly after Pete's Fast and The Furious phase, he ended up moving with his mother. He had a choice of which parent to be with. And the little wannabe playah/momma's boy moved to Wichita
