because what they say might not be accurate or the can lie and make themselves smaller or larger. They might know their waste from 7th grade but that is irrelevant now, you will have much more accurate measurments by measuring yourself

Its a little thing called honesty, people aint got it. Also some clothing is made small or big

because they cant just know what their waste size is...thay could have just eaten a cheesecake and gain a whole 3 inches right there! lol
