I dont have any friends. When i'm in public, i dont interact with anyone and i just stay there mutely while everyone around is interacting. Like in class, when theres free time, i just put my head down on the desk so that i dont have to interact with anyone. And when theres group work, i sit at the group for a few minutes and then leave the class and disappear in the bathroom for the whole period and i come back to class just when theres only a few minutes left so i dont have to interact. Am i acting strange and how so? What would you think of me if you were in my class?

It sounds to me like you have some kind of social disorder. I would seek professional help...it will make it difficult for you to keep a job later on, since most jobs require a lot of interaction with people. Don't wait until it starts affecting your ability to support yourself. Talk to your school counsellor. He/she should be able to get you some help.

It sure doesn't sound healthy. In order to really get to the root of things I think you would have to figure out if you are afraid of making friends and interacting or if you are just not interested. In both cases, I would honestly reccommend seeing a therapist. You may have a treatable disorder. If you are afraid to interact, you may have an anxiety disorder. And if you just plain don't like people that may be a sign of somthing serious as well. In any event I think you should speak with your parents and make them aware of the situation. I'm sure if they knew they would be worried. Maybe you just aren't a sociable person, but life is so much mroe interesting when you have other people to share it with.

Inferiority complex! It is a feeling that one is to others in some way or in many ways like you. It is often subconscious, and is thougth to drive afflicted individuals to overcompensate, resulting either in spectacular achievement or extreme antisocial behaviour. Unlike a normal feeling of inferiority, which can act as an incentive for achievement, an inferiority conplex is an advance state of discouragement, often resulting in a retreat from difficulties.

Any person experiencing such extreme behaviour must need help from professional psychologist. The soonest the better. Goodluck.

Yes. I think it is very strange. Why would you make no effort to interact with anyone for? You will die a very lonely person if you go through life never having any friends. Maybe you need professional help (I'm not being sarcastic). You seem to have a phobia of interaction, please do something about it. Life is too short!

i have seen many kids like you. do you want to be like this and have no friends? or have past efforts failed? get involved in a club in school of something you are interested in, you are bound to find some true friends. and yes you are acting strange and it is unhealthy...friends will make you so much happier! if you were in my class i would be nice to you becuase i don't like to see people left out : )
