If you are talking about a 3-D rectangle,
The volume of a rectangle is height times width times depth.
You can also use base times height if its easier.
hope this helps!

Do you mean an Area of a rectangle?
A=L * W
A= Area, L= Length, W= Width.
Or Volume of a prism
V= L*W*H
V=Volume, L= Length, W= Width, H= Height.

volume is found for objects of 3 dimensions
a rectangle has two demensions a length and a width
the area of this would be length * width
if you mean a box you just take the 3 dimesnions and multiply to get a volume
length * width * height

Two- dimensional figures don't have volumes. They only have areas. A reactangle is a two-dimensional figure. Its area is length*breadth. However, if you're talking about a cuboid, which is widely considered to be a 3D rectangle, the volume is length*breadth*height.

Rectangles don't have volume, as they are two-dimensional figures. A three-dimensional figure with all right angles is a rectangular parallepiped, and its volume is simply the product of the lengths of three edges that meet at any corner.
