We have a tree from Home Depot last year that our son changed something on and made the lights blink. We cannot find instructions and don't know how to stop the blinking. We thought it was the red tipped lights, but that has not seemed to change anything........Help!!

there is a blinker light on the set of lights you have to find it and put a regular light in.

Hi Kristen K,

LQQk you need to take 1 bulb out at a time to figure out which is the blinking bulb-in the past it was a clear bulb with a red tip but no longer. This will be time consuming to say the least but then you won't have the blinking tree. Good luck & have a good day! :0)

When the lights are OFF, look carefully at them. The special "blink maker bulb" is clear and looks different inside. It has bigger metal pieces inside where the filament is. Replace it with another bulb and it will stop blinking.
