Seriously... stop whatever you are doing and think about all the things that exist in the universe. People, love, countries, art, music, religions, hate, happiness, puppies, butterflies, whales, planets, galaxies, stars, poetry, envy, smiles, hot, cold, black, white, loud and low, cumules of galaxies, nothingness, air, water, solids, molecules, atoms, quarks, fibres, cells, blood, mucus, flowers, smells, cookies, optic fibers, the internet, doctors, children, elderly people, letters, paper, and all the things we don't even know about.

Isn't just wonderful? Don't you just feel incredibly humble and small when thinking about this? We are nothing than a small bundle of meat among millions, floating in a little rock in space, not much differently than a small grain of sand lost in the beach...

Isn't just wonderful? How could so many things exist at the same time? And how can they tie up together so perfectly?
The universe is just perfect. We are but a small atom of it.

It sure is! Great to imagine that we are but a small grain of sand in this vast universe!

We sure have no way but to be humble in front of this great force that holds harmony in its hands even after we humans mentally and physically leash out injustice to Mother Nature.

We often forget that even though we are like grains of sand, when grains of sand come together, they have the power to move the course of an ocean. Then just imagine how much we can really give back to Mother Nature, who nurtures one and all with ease and equality!

It is wonderful. I sat for only an hour in a kayak on the ocean beyond where the waves were breaking and no one was venturing. It was so quiet and I soon felt so tiny in the immensness of it all. Very humbling feeling came over me in such a short time. I do stop and think about it.

Indeed, this is true beauty, but be careful. The only thing that exists is now, here. There is never nothing going on, and focusing on this reveals to you the true nature of reality which is much more amazing than any of us usually think. We are all the same.

Hey Just Me,

Perhaps you could get a little more excited when you ask a question. LOL, but yes, it is wonderful. I take the good with the bad. There is so much to learn, and so many things to do. The glass truly is half full.

"You are a fluke of the universe, far less than the trees and the stars, you have no right to be here, and whether pr not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe would get along just fine without you."

Please don't be insulted, I'm just quoting-- The Deteriorata.

It's a remarkable feeling when you feel how vast, powerful and magnificent this world is, and how small and insignificant we are in it all...we're just a fleeting whisper in the universe of things. It's humbling indeed and yet feels wonderful to know we're a part of it all.

Although we may be but a 'small atom' of the world, that small atom is so important to G-d, that each of our ten fingers has an unique fingerprint. Each of our two eyes has an unique reading. Each of our DNA is unique to each of us alone. So to our creator, each of us is very very special, unique, valued, valuable and irreplaceable. Precious and honoured. Each of us is truly important!!Tydg for that.

I will always be baffled by the fact that something as perfect as an Oreo Cookie was all up to cosmic chance. If that's not proof of a divine being, I don't know what is! (his name just might be Mr. Christie).

Comparatively small and insignificant yes, looking at it from all we comprehend, but we do comprehend it. I think this infers a sense of responsibility for interpretation, betterment, enjoyment and sharing, not for an awed humility that robs us of our power to act responsibly.
