since the german mark doesn't exist anymore, no. they pay in euro now. the mark has been collected and taken out of circulation completely.

German Deutsche Marks dated 1948 and later are still redeemable, and major currency exchanges still buy them in. Anything earlier is no longer valid. Earlier notes have some value as collectibles.

why would you want to convert it to dollars. if anything convert it to euros. the dollar is falling, euros are increasing in value.
