I really want it to drop soon, but doubt it. Any ideas?

I am guessing after Christmas, and all those holidays. Maybe a year and a half?? Also, if you would have bought it durins those holidays, you would probably be put in a waiting list if you are buying online or ordering, or in a line if you are buying at a store.
Try not to get it at a real game sotre, then it would cost much more.

Well I bet in a year the price will fall because they will be making more then they can handle and drop the price maybe 50 dollars off then 100 and so on.

Right now sony is losing roughly $220 US on the PS3. It will take some time for production costs to go down, e.g Xbox 360 productions costs only just gone down now.
Once production costs go down the price will gradually drop.

When the demand goes below the supply.
Just wait a few months after all the "Hurry up and get it people" have gotten it. Then there will be a new stock, maybe cheaper after the Holidays.

At least a year.
Supply and Demand. Gotta wait for Demand to drop off.

Of course it will go down. Its just a fad. Look at all those idiots camping out at stores just to get it and all those idiots that are paying thousands of dollars on ebay. They should have just waited a couple months and the price will drop.

Didnt mean to offend any one. Just telling it like
it is. ;)
